ECE R43
The UN regulation covering safety glazing for vehicles, applied across Europe and recognised in most export markets. It specifies light transmittance (minimum 70% for windshields), fragmentation behaviour for tempered glass, and impact resistance for laminated glass. Every piece we ship for a windscreen application carries the E43 marking with the batch number etched at the edge.
DOT (FMVSS 205)
The US Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard for glazing materials. Required for vehicles registered in the United States. Our laminated windshields and tempered side windows are marked with the manufacturer’s DOT code.
CCC
China Compulsory Certification, required for glass fitted to vehicles registered in China. Relevant if you are assembling or registering buses in the Chinese market.
ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
Quality management system certification. IATF 16949 is the automotive-industry-specific standard and is what OE suppliers are audited against. Our system covers traceability from batch to shipping crate.

Can you supply the test report before shipping?
Yes. Ask for the batch test report with your order confirmation and we will send it once the batch is tested, before the goods leave the factory.
My country requires a specific national standard. Can you help?
Tell us the standard and the marking required. In most cases our existing production already meets it, and we can arrange third-party testing with a recognised laboratory if a formal certificate is needed.
