We manufacture bus glass ourselves. Our plant in Yantai, Shandong Province operates laminated glass lines, tempering furnaces and CNC grinding stations, with in-house autoclave processing for laminated windshields. We are not a trading company reselling other people’s glass.
Production capability
Production process
1. Cutting and grinding
Float glass is cut to the OE outline on CNC tables and the edges are ground and polished to remove micro-cracks, which is where stress failure usually starts.
2. Bending and tempering
Windshields are bent in a controlled-temperature furnace to match the original curvature, then photographed against a template for verification. Side and rear windows pass through a tempering furnace that raises surface compression to the level required by ECE R43.
3. Lamination
For windshields, two panes are assembled with a PVB interlayer and bonded in an autoclave under heat and pressure, then inspected for bubbles, de-lamination and optical distortion.
4. Final inspection and packing
Each piece is checked against the production drawing, marked with the certification symbol and batch number, then packed in wooden crates with EPE foam and corner protectors.
Quality control
Testing runs on every batch, not on samples: light transmittance, curvature profile, edge stress, and impact resistance with a 227 g steel ball dropped from two metres. Batch records are retained and available to customers on request.
Visiting the factory
Customers are welcome to visit and audit the plant. If you cannot travel, we can arrange a live video walkthrough of the production line during your working hours — tell us a time and we will set it up.
